Introductory course

Being launched at IUCN World Conservation Congress, October 2025, an introduction to IUCN RHINO. This course cover topics that include the biodiversity crisis, what is Nature Positive and an overview of the IUCN RHINO approach, including the scientific and theoretical basis and alignment with theTNFD LEAP framework.

Professional Certificate in Strategic Nature Positive Action: Leveraging IBAT and the IUCN RHINO Approach

Developed and delivered by leading IUCN RHINO, Nature Positive and IBAT experts through the IUCN Academy, this Professional Certificate equips practitioners with the knowledge, tools and practical experience to translate biodiversity commitments into credible, measurable action.

Participants engage directly with the IUCN RHINO approach, IBAT and the STAR metric through expert-led live sessions, real-world case studies, and individual and group projects, learning how to identify biodiversity risks and opportunities, prioritise interventions, and contribute to Nature Positive outcomes aligned with the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and TNFD.
